Hi Everyone, Well, it's release day! Dark Sanctuary is officially on shelves (or should be) today. If you're one of those amazing readers who hit the shops straight away and you don't see it, please ask a staff member. Sometimes they're just a bit busy and can't get them out right away. If there's any other issue, please let me know and I'll get my publishers to chase it up. Thanks in advance to everyone who has purchased or intends to purchase a copy. Thanks also to those readers who are library goers and keep my books on demand in libraries all over the country. Some recent Q&A
I've had lots of requests for where I'll be touring. My dates and locations will be up on my website as I find out. Wish I could get to everyone, but the more interest I receive from different areas, the more likely I am to get there. So please let me know!
Q: Are some of your characters are modelled on or from experiences that you know or are aware of? How do you create new characters, themes and stories?

A: Hi Kimmie. Not directly, but they’re definitely influenced by observation. Looking at behaviours and the way people think does feed into the characters. I usually start with a question - what kind of person would do this? - and build from there. The story grows out of how those characters respond under pressure.
Q: Will all your books be based in Australia? Its great to read a story and be able to visualize an area that you actually know.

A: Hi Sean. Broadly, yes. Though I am working on a possible series that visits other places while still being Aussie based.
Q: I've just read an ARC of Dark Sanctuary and I absolutely loved it! Will we see more of any of these characters in future books? I know Tori wasn't a main character, but she could be a good one.

A: Hi Shaila. A couple of other early readers have also mentioned they liked Tori's character, so very possibly.
